The Top Hats Orchestra is Hampton Road's premier swing and dance band. The Top Hats Orchestra is a 12 piece band featuring the talents of some of the area's finest musicians. Performing for more than 30 years, the band plays various types of swing and dance music from the 40's and 50's including names such as Count Basie, Glenn Miller, and Tommy Dorsey. The group also performs newer swing music including tunes by Brian Setzer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and many others. Most of the band's members also sing which allows them to provide a variety of entertainment throughout the show.
